The God that Failed (In memory of the children who lost their lives to terrorism)

The prayers turned to mourn,
And his children wailed,
No mosque no temple helped,
For the God that failed.

They lie blooded motionless,
And anarchy has prevailed,
So much for whom?
The God that failed?

Guns in hand, religion on face,
They cried for war and evil they availed,
Cowards they were shaming His name,
Innocence ripped for the God that failed.

No human is different, no nation aloof,
Reddened from the blood of the pure stale,
Calling different names of many of His forms,
Only they say for the God that failed.

"Thy sin be punished", he said,
And kids in a school lay impaled,
Their sinless bodies punished to death,
Only in the name of God that failed.

The believers in God let the world thrive,
I have never seen him, but I have seen life,
The heaven is here, so as the hell,
Keep faith in humanity, because God has failed.
